On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the opening of the exhibition ‘Book Publishing in Bulgaria in the Second Half of the 19th and the Beginning of the 20th Century’ at the House of Hristo G. Danov, we are delighted to share the result of an inspiring collaboration with the talented students of the National High School of Fine Arts ‘Tsanko Lavrenov’ in Plovdiv.
Two posters, created with sensitivity, imagination and a thoughtful appreciation of history, tell the story of the work and spirit of Hristo G. Danov – the bookseller whom many called a minister.
Every line reflects the youthful perspective on this remarkable Bulgarian figure, as well as the respect for the cultural memory we carry and pass on.
Our heartfelt gratitude goes to the students Stela Naneva and Ivelin Pisov, and to their teacher Mr. Chuchuligov, for the inspiration, professionalism and support with which they nurture young artists.
For us, this is more than a visual message – it is a gesture that connects generations in a common cause: the preservation of memory and the honoring of those who shaped Bulgarian history.
The posters can be viewed in the exhibition ‘Book Publishing in Bulgaria in the Second Half of the 19th and the Beginning of the 20th Century’ at the Regional History Museum – Plovdiv, located at 2 Mitropolit Paisiy Street in the Old Town.

The poster was created by Stela Naneva.
