On 13 May 2025, the Regional History Museum – Plovdiv and the National High School of Fine Arts ‘Tsanko Lavrenov’ joined efforts in a truly inspiring and beautiful initiative – an artistic plein air, dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the museum exhibition ‘Book Publishing in Bulgaria in the Second Half of the 19th and the Beginning of the 20th Century’.
The courtyard of the House-Museum Hristo G. Danov came alive with colours, ideas and smiles. The students of the National High School of Fine Arts ‘Tsanko Lavrenov’ – Plovdiv immersed themselves in the atmosphere of the Bulgarian Revival-era enlightenment, inspired by the educational work of Danov. They created their own artistic interpretations, which will be officially presented on 22 May.
We are delighted to announce that all artworks will be showcased in the exhibition ‘Book Publishing in Bulgaria in the Second Half of the 19th and the Beginning of the 20th Century’ at the Regional History Museum – Plovdiv, where they will remain on view until the end of the year.
The Regional History Museum – Plovdiv extends its heartfelt gratitude to the teachers and students of the National High School of Fine Arts ‘Tsanko Lavrenov’ – Plovdiv!
