Presentation of the Book ‘Three Vews on the Unification of 1885’

The book ‘Three Views on the Unification of 1885’ by Milko Palangurski, Veselin Yanchev and Petar Stoyanovich was presented today in the ‘Unification’ Hall of the Regional Historical Museum – Plovdiv.

Three historians.
Three views.
One Unification.
140 years later.

‘Every point of view is not the last, but the next …’ note the authors, established names in the modern historiography.

The book presents three different perspectives on one of the most significant events in Bulgarian history – the Unification of the Principality of Bulgaria with Eastern Rumelia. One hundred and forty years later, the Unification remains alive not only in the memory of generations, but also continues to shape our understanding of national identity and shared purpose.
